SPRING AND SUMMER 2019! We have plenty of educational activities on offer this season for all ages – adults, kids, and even the little ones! Check out the flyers below for more information. For enrollments, contact us.
We also offer a range of themes for our school visits, with all lessons appropriately targeted to a variety of age groups and classroom learning objectives. All visits are run by a mother-tongue English farmer with teaching experience, and can be conducted in English or Italian:
nursery school – sensory tours in nature; experiencing “a farmer’s life and tools”; fruit picking and tasting; how plants grow; English farm and nature vocabulary; games, activities, art and craft related to nature and farming.
elementary and middle school – sensory tours in nature; plant life-cycles, recognising and naming plants and plant parts; fruit cultivating, harvesting and tasting; bees and beekeeping; forest discovery walks and treasure hunts; the wild and the domestic; English farm and nature vocabulary.
English summer camp visits – English farm and nature vocabulary; fruit cultivating, harvesting and tasting; sensory tours and forest discovery walks; English language treasure hunts; “healthy and active in nature” days.
We happily work alongside teachers to ensure the activities and lessons planned are well-aligned with classroom learning objectives.
Full-day and half day visits are available, as well as multiple-visit packages to enable students to experience how seasonal change affects the farm and its produce.
